Beer Flood Deaths

Several large vats ruptured at the Meux & Company Brewery in London, England, in a chain reaction, causing more than 320,000 imperial gallons of beer to flood the nearby city streets. Two homes were destroyed and eight people were killed in what has since been called “The London Beer Flood”.
